Amberleigh Scheungrab Wankel was raised in the world of antiques, trailing her mother through estate sales and auction houses before she could even drive. Her professional foundation was built in the trenches of old-timey live auctions, learning the rhythm of the trade under the legendary Buddy Updike.

As a State Champion Auctioneer, Amberleigh understood early that “shitty work” in cataloging isn’t just a nuisance—it’s a leak in the bottom line. Even a 5% loss in yield due to poor descriptions compounds into a massive deficit over a career.

To bridge the gap between traditional expertise and modern scale, Amberleigh earned her Bachelor of Science in Software Development and Entrepreneurship from the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences (Mainor). Today, she combines her love for process-driven logic and “upcycled” innovation to lead Kõik LLC and Auctologue, ensuring that the digital future of auctions remains accurate, profitable, and research-based.
